Growing up near the Gulf has provided countless inspiration for my artwork. The Oyster Series explores the subtle beauty of an oyster shell when catching the light. The paintings reveal iridescent color, metallic pearls and gold over a neutral backdrop of gray and white. I keep returning to the Gulf oyster shell in my Oyster Series each year, from mini paintings on juniper tree slices to larger-scale layered paintings on wood panels. I absolutely love the depth and interest of each piece and find these are perfect for any decor.
