Thank you for your interest in commissioned artwork! I love working with clients on custom artwork for your home of office. Designers and decorators, let’s discuss your project needs and create something beautiful for your client.
Share details about your project through the form, and I look forward to the opportunity to create a commissioned painting for you.
You can request a completely new piece or use an existing piece of my art as inspiration (sold or available). Your commissioned artwork can be based on decor (things like a mood board, paint, fabric, wallpaper or interior photos), a specific color palette or inspiration photos.
After you contact me, we’ll set up a time to discuss your project details via FaceTime, in-person consultation at my studio or your home, email, or phone. Whatever is easiest for you.
Commissions, just like my studio work, are priced by size. My artwork is painted on paper or gessoed wood. Typically, I use custom-made cradled art panels with 1.5” to 2” depth or flat panels that can be framed. My artwork can be sealed with a matte or semi-gloss protective finish or a high-shine resin layer (resin only for artwork on wood). If you have questions regarding the finish, I’m happy to discuss and share examples.
Once we agree on commission size, details and pricing, I create an initial color palette for your approval prior to beginning the painting.
Turnaround time varies depending on the commission size and my schedule, although it is typically 6-8 weeks for one painting (more for additional pieces). Estimated timing will be provided after our consultation.
For commissions, I require a 50% deposit at the time of commission booking, with the remaining balance, including taxes and shipping (if applicable), due upon shipment/delivery of artwork.
I will send at least two photos and/or video for approval before the artwork is finalized. We can also set up an in-person appointment for painting approval. A painting will not be considered final until you are happy with your painting and any changes requested have been implemented.
Once approved, I will add the final varnish in addition to hanging hardware for your panel or frame.
Then comes delivery and installation!
For large pieces in the Greater Houston area, I recommend a professional installation with an art hanging service which I can arrange.
For smaller to mid-size pieces, I will hand-deliver to you in the Greater Houston area for no additional fee.
Live somewhere else in Texas? Let’s talk about your hand delivery and shipping options during your consult. In many cases I can drive the painting to you for a fee that costs less than shipping.
For nationwide shipping, I’ll provide a quote for shipping once the commission size and details are finalized. I have experience in shipping across the U.S., including California, Connecticut, Florida, Ohio, Louisiana and Michigan, to name a few. Questions about shipping? We can discuss in your consult.
Thank you again for your interest, and I hope to work with you!
